Summary
Guddu Yadav applied for anticipatory bail after an FIR (Case No. 301 of 2025) alleged that he assaulted the brother of an informant with an iron rod, causing grievous injury as certified by a doctor. The offences alleged fall under Sections 126(2), 115(2), 117(2), 109 and 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita. The petitioner pleaded innocence, asserted a clean antecedent and sought protection from arrest, while the State opposed the bail. The learned counsel for the State argued the seriousness of the charges and the nature of the injury. Considering the gravity of the accusation and the injury inflicted, the Court refused the petition for anticipatory bail.
