Bail is granted to the petitioner subject to the stipulated conditions.

Summary

Ranvir Paswan, the petitioner, faced imminent arrest in connection with a criminal case (Khagaria P.S. Case No.125 of 2025) involving multiple offences under sections 126(2), 115(2), 109, 303(2), 74, 76, 352, 351(2), 3(5) of the B.N.S., 2023 and section 27 of the Arms Act. He contended that the matter had been compromised between the parties and a compromise petition had been filed in the lower court. The petitioner sought bail to avoid arrest. The High Court, after hearing counsel, allowed the bail application, directing release on bail bonds of Rs.10,000 with two sureties, subject to conditions under Section 482 of the B.N.S. and Section 438(2) of the CrPC, and contingent upon the informant’s support for the compromise. The certified copy of the compromise petition was taken on record.
