Patna High Court

Satyam SauravversusThe State of Bihar

Decided
Disposal
BAIL REJECTED

Holding

The Court refused to entertain the second anticipatory bail application.

Summary

The petitioner, Satyam Saurav, filed a second application for anticipatory bail before the Patna High Court after his earlier application (Cr. Misc. No.65850 of 2025) was withdrawn by order dated 17.09.2025. He argued that the withdrawal was voluntary and sought relief again. The learned senior counsel for the petitioner contended that the second application should be entertained. The Court, after hearing counsel for both sides, held that it was not inclined to consider a second anticipatory bail application on the same facts. Consequently, the petition for anticipatory bail was rejected.
