Holding
The bail petition was denied as there were no fresh grounds to reconsider the earlier order.
Summary
The petitioner, Rohit Pandey, was arrested in connection with a murder allegedly committed during a land dispute, charged under Sections 103(1) and 61(2) of the Bihar Narcotic Substances Act and Section 27 of the Arms Act. He applied for bail, but the Patna High Court had earlier rejected his bail application in Cr. Misc. No. 21416 of 2025. On the present application, the court examined whether any fresh ground existed to revisit the earlier decision. The court found no new material or change in circumstances that would justify granting bail. Consequently, the bail petition was dismissed, reaffirming the earlier order.
Issues considered
- Whether the petitioner is entitled to bail in view of the earlier rejection and absence of fresh grounds.
