The modification application is allowed, granting the petitioner an additional four weeks to surrender before the concerned court.

Summary

The petitioner, Abhishek Singh, filed an application seeking modification of a bail order dated 02‑09‑2025, which required him to surrender before the court within six weeks. He claimed that unavoidable circumstances prevented him from complying within the stipulated period and requested an additional four weeks to surrender. The petitioner had deposited Rs.10,000 with the Bihar State Legal Services Authority. The State, represented by an Additional Public Prosecutor, raised no objection to the requested extension. After hearing both sides, the court allowed the modification application, granting the petitioner an extra four weeks to surrender. Consequently, the original bail order was modified to reflect the extended time frame.
