Summary

The petitioners, Sujeet Kumar, Anil Ram and Tinku Ram, were accused of offences under Sections 126(2), 127(2), 109(1) and 3(5) of the B.N.S., 2023, based on an allegation that they, along with co‑accused Santosh Ram, tied and set fire to the informant’s sister. The informant claimed the act was motivated by the sister’s opposition to her husband’s extra‑marital affair. The petitioners filed an application for anticipatory bail fearing arrest.
