Disposal
BAIL GRANTED

Holding

The Court granted bail to the petitioner upon the condition of furnishing a bail bond of Rs.10,000 with two sureties.

Summary

Manish Kumar Beshra was arrested in connection with alleged misappropriation of funds under the Chief Minister Nal Jal Yojana and charged under Sections 406, 409 and 420 of the Indian Penal Code. The petitioner claimed a clean antecedent, asserted that the informant falsely implicated him and that the FIR was filed hastily without verifying his work. He had been in custody since 17 October 2025 and sought regular bail. The State opposed the bail application. After hearing both sides, the Court ordered his release on bail upon furnishing a bond of Rs.10,000 and two sureties of the same amount, subject to the satisfaction of the trial court.
