Summary

Reliable Infra Services Private Limited filed a civil writ petition before the Patna High Court challenging actions of the State of Bihar and its officials. The petitioner later informed the Court that the petition had become infructuous and sought permission to invoke the arbitration clause contained in the contract with the respondents. The Court examined the submission and held that, since the petition was no longer operative, it could be dismissed. However, the Court clarified that the petitioner remains free to pursue any other effective legal remedy, including arbitration, as per the contractual agreement. All pending applications, if any, were ordered to stand disposed.
