Holding

The contempt petition is dismissed as the order under contempt has been complied with.

Summary

The petitioner, Dinesh Kumar Das, filed a contempt petition before the Patna High Court against several officials of the State of Bihar, alleging that they had not complied with a prior order. The State responded with a show‑cause notice stating that the petitioner’s grievance had been addressed by a reasoned order of a five‑member Screening Committee. The Court examined the information in paragraph 6 of the show‑cause filing and found that the order under contempt had indeed been complied with. Consequently, the Court held that there was no ground to continue the contempt proceedings. The petition was therefore consigned, effectively dismissing the contempt petition.
