The contempt petition is dismissed as the order under contempt has been complied with.
Summary
Petitioner Jitendra Kumar Singh filed a contempt petition against the State of Bihar and officials of the Water Resources Department, alleging non‑compliance with a prior order. The respondents contended that the contempt order had been complied with because the required amount was sanctioned and the sanction and payment details were communicated to the Accountant General. The court examined the compliance evidence and found that the sanction and intimation had indeed been made. Consequently, the court held that the contempt petition was no longer maintainable. The petition was therefore consigned, and the petitioner was advised to seek any further remedy as per law.
