The court granted temporary bail for ten days with a personal bond and reporting conditions.
Summary
The applicant, Gopal Ghelabhai Gohel, filed a criminal miscellaneous application seeking temporary bail for four weeks on the ground that he needed to provide financial assistance to his family. The Additional Public Prosecutor waived service of notice on behalf of the State. The court examined the applicant's claim, noting that he had last been released in November 2024 and had reported back in time. Exercising its discretion, the court granted temporary bail but limited it to ten days, subject to a personal bond of Rs.10,000, reporting to the nearest police station every alternate day, and surrendering to jail at the end of the period. The order was made absolute, allowing direct service of the rule.
