High Court of Gujarat

MANHARBHAI BHAVUBHAI MERversusSTATE OF GUJARAT

Disposal
DISPOSED AS INFRUCTUOUS

Holding

The revision application is dismissed as infructuous because the matter has already been settled.

Summary

The petitioner, Manharbhai Bhavubhai Mer, filed a criminal revision application before the Gujarat High Court challenging an order of a subordinate court. The matter had already been settled in Criminal Appeal No. 417 of 2025 before the Sessions Judge, Gandhinagar, on 17 April 2026. The petitioner’s counsel, Mr. M. Barot, referred to the settlement order. The Court observed that because the dispute was resolved at the appellate level, the revision application no longer had any live issue. Consequently, the Court held the revision application to be infructuous and disposed of it.
