The court held that no case is made out for granting furlough leave to the applicant.
Summary
The applicant, convicted of a life sentence in Sessions Case No. 10/2024, applied for furlough leave while in jail. The court noted that the applicant had previously been released on parole from 21.10.2025 to 27.10.2025 and failed to surrender on time, returning a day late. Considering this breach of parole conditions, the court found no justification to grant the requested furlough leave. Consequently, the application was rejected. The order was delivered by Justice P. M. Raval of the Gujarat High Court on 9 April 2026.
