Bombay High Court

ANURAG NATHULAL VERMAversusMONIKA ANURAG VERMA AND ANR.

Decided
Disposal
Allowed To be withdrawn

Holding

The court allowed the unconditional withdrawal and dismissal of the interim application.

Summary

The applicant, Anurag Nathulal Verma, filed an affidavit withdrawing certain allegations made in an earlier interim application (No. 1575 of 2026) and sought to withdraw that interim application altogether. The respondent, Monika Anurag Verma & Anr., were served with the withdrawal. The learned counsel for the applicant, Mr. Rajesh More, submitted the affidavit and requested the court to mark the interim application as withdrawn. The court examined the affidavit, noted that the allegations were voluntarily retracted, and found no impediment to allowing the withdrawal. Consequently, the court ordered that Interim Application No. 1575 of 2026 be unconditionally withdrawn and dismissed.

                      1. Mr. More, learned Counsel appearing for the Applicant tenders an

A davit of the Applicant - Anurag Nathulal Verma.

                      2. In the said A davit, it has been stated that inadvertently certain

allegations have been made against the earlier Advocate in Interim

Application No.1575 of 2026. However, the said allegations are

withdrawn and even Interim Application No.1575 of 2026 is also

unconditionally withdrawn. The said A davit is taken on record and

                      marked “X” for withdrawn.

                      3. Accordingly, Interim Application No.1575 of 2026 is allowed to be

                      withdrawn and dismissed as such.
