Summary

These are two anticipatory bail applications before the Bombay High Court. Anticipatory Bail Application No. 599 of 2024 was filed by Pranav Shrigopal Kabra under Section 482 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, seeking pre-arrest bail in Crime No. 70 of 2024 dated 29.01.2024 registered at Bangur Nagar Police Station, Brihanmumbai, for offences under Sections 426, 420 read with 34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860. The applicant submitted that interim protection had been granted by order dated 06.03.2024 and that he had complied with its conditions. The learned APP stated that investigation was almost complete and the chargesheet was likely to be filed shortly, and did not dispute the applicant's compliance and cooperation. The Court noted that the offence was registered on 29.01.2024 and interim protection had been operating since 06.03.2024. Anticipatory Bail Application No. 1161 of 2024, filed by Sunny Mangalchand Aggarwal, was adjourned and stood over to 06.07.2026.
