APPLICATION ALLOWED

Holding

The Court allowed the anticipatory bail application, granting bail with specified conditions.

Summary

Shubham Dattatray Hajare applied for anticipatory bail in connection with Crime No. 344/2026, alleged to involve offences under Sections 123, 223, 274 and 275 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita. The State sought additional time to produce investigation papers, marking the fourth such request, and the investigating officer showed no opposition. The Court noted the repeated delay and lack of opposition and consequently allowed the anticipatory bail application. The bail was conditioned on a personal bond of Rs.15,000 with a surety of equal amount, a prohibition on contacting witnesses, a ban on interfering with evidence, and a requirement to cooperate with the investigation. The order was directed to be communicated to the concerned police station.
