Bombay High Court

SHESHADRI P RversusSTATE OF MAHARASHTRA AND ANR

Decided
Disposal
Dismissed for non-complying conditional Order

Summary

The Bombay High Court, sitting on 9 March 2026, issued a common order directing the handling of several pending criminal appellate matters. Due to time constraints, the listed matters could not be heard and the court set deadlines for removal of office objections, filing of any affidavits-in-reply, and supply of spare notice copies by petitioners. It ordered that unserved respondents be deemed dismissed if copies are not supplied within seven days, and otherwise notices must be issued with a two‑week return date. The order also scheduled the listed matters for hearing on specific dates in August 2026, subject to compliance with the procedural requirements. No substantive adjudication on the merits of any case was made.
