SHYAM MURLIDHAR SALUNKEversusTHE STATE OF MAHARASHTRA

Disposal
Withdrawn

Holding

The High Court granted leave to withdraw the bail applications, disposing of them as withdrawn.

Summary

The petitioners, Shyam Murlidhar Salunke, filed two bail applications (Nos. 2351 and 2350 of 2025) before the Bombay High Court, Aurangabad Bench. During the pendency of these applications, the charge sheet was filed against the accused. Counsel for the applicants sought leave of the court to withdraw the pending bail applications and to file fresh applications before the Sessions Court, citing the change in circumstances. The court considered whether it could grant such leave. It granted the request, allowing the applications to be withdrawn. Consequently, both bail applications were disposed of as withdrawn, with liberty to file fresh applications before the Sessions Court.
