Summary

The State of Maharashtra, through the Collector of Jalna, filed an application seeking condonation of an 802‑day delay in filing its appeal against a decree in favor of Shaikh Juber Shaikh Allahuddin and another. The respondents opposed the condonation, but the applicant explained that the delay was due to administrative reasons. The Court examined the reasons and found them satisfactory.
