Disposal
Admitted/Allowed/Granted/Rule Absolute

Holding

The court held that the delay in filing the appeals is condoned.

Summary

The Executive Director Tapi Patbandhare Vikas Mahamandal Jalgaon and others filed several civil applications seeking condonation of delay in filing appeals against awards of the Reference Court in land acquisition matters. The applications were heard before Justice S.G. Chapalgaokar, who examined the submissions and the reasons for the delay. The court found that the applicants had shown sufficient cause for the lapse of time. Accordingly, the court ordered that the delay be condoned, the appeals be registered after removal of any office objection, and the civil applications be disposed of. The order permits the appellants to proceed with their appeals despite the prescribed period having elapsed.
