Bombay High Court

AAKASH ANANDA KEDARIversusTHE STATE OF MAHARASHTRA

Decided
Disposal
Dismissed as Withdrawn

Holding

The court permitted the withdrawal of the interim application and allowed the applicant to renew the request after six months if the trial shows no substantial progress.

Summary

Aakash Ananda Kedari filed a bail application that included a condition prohibiting him from entering Pune district until the trial concluded. He subsequently filed Interim Application No. 822 of 2026 seeking to modify that condition. The applicant, through counsel Prajyot Shinde, later requested to withdraw the interim application, a request unopposed by the State. The court allowed the withdrawal and granted the applicant liberty to file a fresh request after six months if there is no substantial progress in the trial. The interim application was therefore disposed of.
