The criminal revision applications were dismissed for non‑prosecution due to the applicants' failure to appear.

Summary

The Bombay High Court considered several criminal revision applications filed by Husna Atikur Rehman Shaikh and related applicants against the State of Maharashtra. The applicants failed to appear for the scheduled hearings, despite the court granting an additional opportunity on 23 January 2026. Consequently, the court placed the matters under the ‘dismissal’ caption and ordered that the revision applications be dismissed for non‑prosecution. The court further held that, with the dismissal of the revision applications, no related criminal, interim, or other applications survived and were likewise disposed of. The order was pronounced by Justice Madhav J. Jamdar on 23 January 2026.
