Decided
Disposal
Dismissed

Holding

The court approved the parties' consent settlement, added the society as a respondent, and quashed the impugned orders, thereby disposing of the appeals.

Summary

The appellant, Neelkanth Constructions, filed four second appeals against various respondents. All parties consented to a settlement, signing a consent term that added a society as a respondent in each appeal. The court recorded the consent terms, accepted the undertakings, and directed the appellant to issue cheques for 20% of the corpus fund. The court permitted the filing of a vakalatnama for the society, amended the pleadings to include the society, and disposed of all four appeals in accordance with the settlement. Consequently, the previously impugned orders were quashed and set aside, and all pending applications were declared infructuous.
