Summary

The petitioner, Pramod Bhaichand Raisoni, filed writ petition No. 11833 of 2021 before the Bombay High Court, Aurangabad Bench, challenging an order of the Central Registrar of Co‑operative Societies. The petition remained pending since 2016 and 2021 without any appearance by the petitioner’s counsel. On 16‑04‑2026, the court noted that no representative appeared for the petitioner in both morning and afternoon sessions and that the matter had been pending for many years. The court observed that the petitioner appeared disinterested in prosecuting the case. Consequently, the court dismissed the petition in default for want of prosecution and placed it under the “For Dismissal” caption in the urgent orders category.
