The petition was disposed of without granting the writ of mandamus.

Summary

The petitioner, Dr. Mahadev Annappa Shinde, filed a writ petition seeking a mandamus directing Shivaji University and other respondents to consider and decide a legal notice dated 06-05-2025. The petitioner specifically requested that the university pass a reasoned order within 30 days, and if an adverse order were issued, he would pursue further legal remedies. The university, through its counsel, indicated that it would decide the petitioner's representation within the stipulated 30‑day period. The court noted that the university could call for additional information from the petitioner if required. After recording these statements, the bench disposed of the petition without granting the writ of mandamus.
