Summary
Anitabai Santosh Nikam filed a writ petition seeking direction for the payment of ex-gratia assistance/insurance cover from the State of Maharashtra. The petitioner alleged that the payment had not been made. The learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents informed the Court that the petitioner had already received the ex-gratia assistance pursuant to Government Resolution dated 29.05.2021, circular dated 08.07.2020, and another Resolution dated 04.05.2021. The petitioner’s counsel accepted that the payment had indeed been received.
