The original judgment is to be corrected to reflect the accurate land area figures and the total area as specified.

Summary

The petitioner, Shabnoor Ayub Pathan, filed a writ petition seeking correction of specific numerical figures and a table entry in the judgment dated 24 March 2026 concerning land area measurements approved by the Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai. The petition alleged that the original judgment incorrectly recorded the areas of several parcels of land and omitted the RG area figure, resulting in an inaccurate total area. The Court examined the petition and found no substantive dispute, merely a clerical error requiring rectification. Accordingly, the Court directed that the sentence be amended to reflect the correct figures—334.43, 4417.36, 75.50, 31.79, 1572.02 sq. mtrs, plus RG area of 1134.93 sq. mtrs, totalling 7566.23 sq. mtrs—and that the corrected judgment be uploaded as Judgment No.1. The rest of the original judgment was left unchanged.
