Holding
The High Court directed Respondent No. 3 to decide the pending representations within six weeks, thereby disposing of the writ petition.
Summary
The petitioners, a group of educational institutions, filed a writ petition seeking the State of Maharashtra and its officials to decide pending representations dated 17‑02‑2025 and 05‑03‑2025, to enter the names of petitioners Nos. 3‑10 in the Sevaarth Pranali, and to release their salaries from the date of appointment. The State’s Additional Government Pleader (AGP) waived notice and indicated that the representations would be decided within twelve weeks. The Court treated the AGP’s statement as an undertaking and ordered Respondent No. 3 to decide the representations within six weeks from the date of the order. No substantive merits of the representations were examined; the relief was limited to a procedural direction. The petition was consequently disposed.
