YOGESH NIWASRAO JADHAVversusTHE STATE OF MAHARASHTRA

Disposal
Disposed off as Withdrawn

Holding

The petition was dismissed as the filing of the summary report concluded the matter and left no issue for the court to consider.

Summary

Petitioner Yogesh Niwasrao Jadhav filed a criminal writ petition before the Bombay High Court, Circuit Bench at Kolhapur, challenging actions of the State of Maharashtra. The Respondent State, through its Additional Public Prosecutor S. V. Gavand, informed the Court that a "Summary Report" had been filed in the underlying matter. The Court noted that the filing of this report effectively concluded the proceedings and left no remaining issue for adjudication. Consequently, the Court held that there was nothing further to consider on the petition. The petition was therefore disposed, with a direction that the petitioner may approach the appropriate forum if any new cause of action arises.
