Holding

The trial court must hear and decide the temporary injunction application on its merits and maintain the status quo, leading to the disposal of the writ petition.

Summary

The petitioners sought a temporary injunction concerning a suit property. The High Court noted that the trial court had scheduled a hearing for the injunction application on 17 June 2026 and that pleadings were complete. The Court directed the trial court to decide the injunction application on its merits on the scheduled date and to render a decision within a week.
