The court held that the stay application must be decided by the designated Authority within two months and the revision application within six months, with the existing status‑quo remaining in effect.

Summary

The petitioner, Mayur Sharad Balwadkar, filed a writ petition challenging certain actions of the respondents. The court was required to consider a stay application and a revision application filed on 9 February 2026. The Additional Government Pleader, on behalf of the respondents, directed that the stay application be decided by Respondent No.8-Authority within two months and the revision application within six months. The court ordered that the status‑quo order dated 14 January 2025 remain in force until the stay application is resolved, and that the petitioner may not seek further adjournments before the Authority. Consequently, the court disposed of the writ petition, leaving the matters to be adjudicated by the designated Authority.
