Holding

The petition lacks merit and is dismissed.

Summary

The petitioner, Shri Yuvraj Shamrao Jadhav, filed a writ petition seeking a direction to the State of Maharashtra and others to decide a representation dated 6 February 2015, which essentially complained against Mr R.S. Patil. The Court observed that the matter related to the year 2016, had not been listed since its filing, and the petitioner had taken no steps to obtain circulation of the representation. It further noted that the petitioner appeared no longer interested in pursuing the petition. Considering these circumstances and finding that the reliefs claimed lacked merit, the Court held that the petition could not be sustained. Consequently, the petition was dismissed and disposed of.

                              Mr. R.P. Kadam, A.G.P. for the Respondent-State.
                                                               ——————

                                                     Coram : MRS. VRUSHALI V. JOSHI &
                                                                  RANJITSINHA RAJA BHONSALE, JJ.

                                                     Date : 18th March 2026.

                              P. C. :

                              1. The Petitioner is seeking direction to the Respondents to decide the
                              representation dated 6th February 2015.
                              2. After perusal of the representation, it appears that it essentially
amounts to a complaint against one Mr. R.S. Patil. As the matter pertains to
the year 2016 and has not been listed since its filing, and as no steps were
taken by the Petitioner to obtain circulation, it appears that the Petitioner is
no longer interested in pursuing the Petition. Further, considering the reliefs
                              claimed, the Petition lacks merit.
                              3. Accordingly, the Petition stands disposed of as dismissed.
