Summary

M/s. Lakshachandi Housing and Infrastructure Pvt. Ltd. filed a writ petition challenging the State of Maharashtra concerning the pending C‑Summary Report in criminal case No. 214 of 2017, originally registered at Santacruz Police Station and later investigated by the Economic Offences Wing (Housing Cell). The petitioner sought relief on the basis that the investigation had been completed and the report filed before the Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, but no further action had been taken. The Respondent, represented by the Assistant Public Prosecutor, submitted that the report was filed on 7 September 2019 and was awaiting final adjudication. The Court examined the submissions and found that the petitioner’s grievance had been fully addressed and there was no remaining issue for the Court to consider.
