Holding

The Court held that it may direct the public authority to decide the pending representations within two weeks.

Summary

The petitioners filed a writ petition seeking a court direction to respondent No.3 to decide two representations dated 15 July 2025 and 6 August 2025. Respondent No.3, through counsel Mr. Pulkundwar, waived service of notice and gave an undertaking to decide the representations within two weeks of the hearing. The Court considered whether it could issue such a direction under its writ jurisdiction. Finding no impediment, the Court ordered respondent No.3 to decide the representations within the stipulated two‑week period. The petition was consequently disposed with the direction granted.
