Summary

Shree Aniruddhay Namah Pvt. Ltd. and an associate filed a criminal writ petition in the Bombay High Court seeking a writ of mandamus to compel Axis Bank to de‑freeze a current account that had been frozen. The petition also requested interim relief to reactivate the account pending final disposal. During the hearing, the petitioners, through counsel Mr. Manish Shukla, sought permission to withdraw the petition and to pursue any other legal remedy available. The Court, after considering the request, allowed the withdrawal of the writ petition and dismissed it, granting the petitioners liberty to approach an alternate forum. The Court expressly kept all substantive contentions of the parties open for future determination.
