Holding
The court held that it could not issue a direction for expeditious disposal when the opposite party had not been properly served.
Summary
The petitioner, Ajaj Mohammad, filed a petition under Article 227 seeking an order for the expeditious disposal of G.W. Petition No.112 of 2025. The court noted that the respondent, Smt. Nargis Khan, had not been served because of an incorrect address, and a separate application for proper service was allowed. Since the service issue remained unresolved, the court held that it could not issue any direction for speedy disposal. The petition was deemed to have been filed hurriedly. Consequently, the court dismissed the petition without granting any order for expeditious disposal.
