Allahabad High Court
TUFANI PALversusSTATE OF U.P. AND 2 OTHERS
- Decided
Holding
No order is required to be passed in the petition; the writ petition is dismissed.
Summary
The petitioner, Tufani Pal, filed a criminal miscellaneous writ petition challenging the proceedings against certain accused. The court was informed that a charge sheet had been filed against Neeraj Yadav and Ajay Yadav, and a final report had been filed in favor of Vikas Yadav and Ramoo Yadav. The court examined whether any further order was required in the writ petition given the filing of the charge sheet and final report. It held that since the statutory steps of filing the charge sheet and final report were complete, no additional relief could be granted. Consequently, the writ petition was dismissed, with a direction that the petitioner may pursue any other legal remedy available.
