The court declined to grant anticipatory bail but directed that the applicant may seek regular bail within four weeks and ordered a stay on any coercive action during that period.
Summary
The applicant, Deena @ Deenbandhu Yaduvanshi, filed an anticipatory bail application under Section 482 of the Criminal Procedure Code. The learned Additional Government Advocate did not oppose the applicant's request to approach the concerned court for regular bail. The High Court directed that the applicant must appear before the concerned court within four weeks and apply for regular bail under several sections of the BNS 2023, and that his bail application will be considered expeditiously without being influenced by any prior rejection of the anticipatory bail. The Court also ordered that no coercive action be taken against the applicant for a period of four weeks. Consequently, the anticipatory bail application was disposed with directions for regular bail and a temporary stay on coercive measures.
