Since the encroachments have been removed, the Chak Road has been demarcated and handed over to the Gram Panchayat, the petition is rendered infructuous and is disposed.
Summary
The petitioner filed a public interest litigation seeking a court direction for the State authorities to demarcate and construct a Chak Road over two plots in Siuridih village, Ghazipur. The Court had earlier directed the authorities on 21‑01‑2026 to take action. A personal affidavit filed by the Sub‑Divisional Officer confirmed that on 29‑01‑2026 the revenue team, aided by police, removed all encroachments, demarcated the road and handed it over to the Gram Panchayat for strengthening and soil work, with photographs evidencing the improvement. The Court observed that the relief sought had been fully complied with and no further enquiry or direction was necessary. Consequently, the petition was held to be infructuous and was disposed of. The order was pronounced by Justice Arun Kumar on 23‑04‑2026.
