The petition is disposed of without merits, with a direction to file a fresh representation before the Executive Officer.
Summary
The Allahabad High Court corrected a clerical error in an earlier order, changing the date to 17‑12‑2019 and the writ petition number to Writ‑A No. 20654 of 2019. The respondents claimed that most of the dues owed to the petitioner had been paid, but the petitioner asserted that Rs. 9,15,033 remained outstanding. The Court found that keeping the petition pending served no useful purpose and, without addressing the merits, ordered the petition to be disposed. It directed the petitioner to file a fresh representation before the Executive Officer (respondent No. 2) within three weeks, attaching a certified copy of the order and the petition. The Executive Officer must decide the grievance within three months, provided no other legal impediment exists. Consequently, the writ petition was formally disposed of.

Court No. - 32
HON'BLE DINESH PATHAK, J.
1. Sri J. N. Maurya, learned counsel appearing for the contesting
respondent nos. 2, 3 and 4 has pointed out that the date of order and the
year of the writ petition of earlier Writ Petition No. 20654 of 2019 was
inadvertently mentioned as order dated 17.12.2015 and Writ- A No.
20654 of 2016.
2. Accordingly, on his request, first and second paragraph of order dated
2, September, 2026 passed by this Court is corrected in the following
manner:- (i) Date of order should be read as understood 17.12.2019. (ii)
Number of the writ petition should be read and understood as Writ- A No.
20654 of 2019.
3. In compliance with the order dated September 2, 2026, learned counsel
for the contesting respondents submits that the maximum amount of dues
has already been paid to the petitioner. However, a balance amount
remaining payable to the petitioner, which shall be paid shortly. Learned
counsel for the petitioner submits that total amount of Rs. 9,15,033/- is
still outstanding and remains to be paid.
4. In view of above, no useful purpose would be served by keeping this
writ petition pending. Accordingly, without expressing any opinion on the
merits of the case, this Court deems it appropriate to finally dispose of the
present writ petition with a direction that the petitioner shall be at liberty
to move a fresh representation before the Executive Officer (respondent
no. 2) ventilating his grievance raised in the instant writ petition within a

period of three weeks from today along with a certified copy of this order
and a self attested copy of the instant writ petition, who, in turn, shall
consider and decide the same in accordance with law by passing a
reasoned and speaking order expeditiously, preferably, within a period of
three months from the date of production of the same, if there is no other
legal impediment.
6. With the aforesaid directions and observations, present writ petition
stands disposed of.
