Allahabad High Court

SATYA PRAKASHversusSTATE OF U.P. AND 3 OTHERS

Decided

Holding

The writ petition is dismissed with liberty to the petitioner to challenge the order dated 16‑04‑2026 before the appropriate forum.

Summary

The petitioner, Satya Prakash, filed a writ petition challenging an order dated 16 April 2026 issued by the Additional Director General of Police, which rejected his claim. The High Court, after noting the affidavit and the petitioner's representation filed on 10 April 2026, considered the petition. The petitioner sought dismissal of the writ petition with liberty to contest the police order in a suitable forum. The Court found no merit in continuing the writ proceedings and granted the petitioner's request to dismiss the petition while allowing him to challenge the police order elsewhere. Consequently, the writ petition was dismissed with liberty to approach the appropriate forum.
