Allahabad High Court

RAJENDRA SINGHversusSTATE OF U.P. AND 4 OTHERS

Decided

Holding

The writ petition is dismissed insofar as the orders already appealed or under revision are concerned.

Summary

The petitioner, Rajendra Singh, challenged three disciplinary orders: one dated 18‑09‑2024 (appeal rejected on 08‑11‑2024 and revision rejected on 24‑12‑2025), another dated 06‑02‑2025 (appeal rejected on 31‑05‑2025), and a pending revision against the latter. The Court held that the writ petition could only address the first order, as the second order was already subject to a pending revision. Consequently, the petition was dismissed with respect to the pending revision and the earlier order, leaving no relief available. The decision underscores that a writ petition cannot override pending disciplinary appeals or revisions.

Issues considered
