The petition is dismissed as not pressed, with liberty to file a fresh petition.

Summary

Om Prakash Singh filed a writ petition before the Allahabad High Court challenging actions of the Union of India and other respondents. The petition was argued before Hon'ble Justice Prakash Padia. Counsel for the petitioner prayed that the petition be dismissed on the ground that it was not pressed and sought liberty to file a fresh petition with better averments. The court examined whether the petition contained sufficient averments to be pressed. The court allowed the prayer and dismissed the petition as not pressed. The court also granted the petitioner liberty to file a fresh petition with more complete averments.
