The petition is disposed with a direction that the petitioner join the transferred post within a week and the competent authority decide his representation within three weeks.

Summary

The petitioner, Somai Ram, challenged an order dated 10 April 2026 by the District Panchayat Raj Officer, Basti, which suspended him and transferred him from one revenue village to another within the same district. He had filed a representation against the transfer with the District Magistrate and the officer on 13 April 2026, but no decision was rendered. The petitioner sought relief through a writ petition.
