The Court ordered the Project Manager of Uttar Pradesh Bridge Corporation Ltd. to decide the petitioner's case expeditiously, preferably within two months, barring any legal impediment.
Summary
Petitioner Sanjay filed a writ petition before the Allahabad High Court alleging that the Project Manager of Uttar Pradesh Bridge Corporation Ltd., who had issued a notice on 27.08.2024, had not taken any decision despite the petitioner’s detailed replies dated 24.09.2024 and 24.11.2024. The petitioner sought judicial intervention to compel a decision. The respondents argued that the Project Manager would decide the matter expeditiously. The Court, after hearing counsel for both sides, refrained from expressing any view on the merits but directed the Project Manager to decide the case in accordance with law within two months of the certified copy of the order, unless a legal impediment exists. Consequently, the writ petition was disposed of with a mandatory direction for prompt adjudication.
