Summary

Ram Subhag and others filed a writ petition (Writ B No. 3835 of 1980) before the Allahabad High Court, Lucknow Bench, challenging actions of the Deputy Director of Consolidation, Faizabad and others. The petitioner's counsel, U.S. Sahai, informed the Court that he had no instructions to represent the petitioners. No private respondents appeared, and only the State's standing counsel was present for the respondents. The Court noted that it was not prepared to grant further adjournments despite the petition's age. Consequently, the Court dismissed the writ petition for want of instructions, ordering the parties to make alternate arrangements if needed.
