SMT. ANAMIKA MAURYA AND ANOTHERversusSTATE OF U.P. AND 3 OTHERS

Decided

Holding

The petition is dismissed as not pressed.

Summary

The petitioners, Smt. Anamika Maurya and another, filed a writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution seeking an ad interim mandamus to restrain the respondents from interfering in their marital life. They also requested a direction to respondent No.4 not to harass them. During the hearing, the petitioners' counsel indicated that they no longer wished to pursue the petition. The present writ petition under Article 226 of Constitution of India has
been filed with a prayer to issue an ad interim mandamus commanding
and directing the respondents not to interfere in the peaceful married life
of the petitioners and further issue a writ or direction in the nature of
mandamus commanding and directing the respondent no. 4 not to harass
and interfere in the matrimonial life of the petitioners.

After some argument, learned counsel for the petitioners does not want to
                                    press this petition.

Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed as not pressed with liberty to
                                    file a fresh.
