RISHABH CHAUDHARYversusSTATE OF UTTAR PRADESH AND 3 OTHERS

Holding
The Court disposed of the writ petition and directed the petitioner to file a fresh representation before the Director (Sports), who must decide it within a month.
Summary
The petitioner, Rishabh Chaudhary, filed a writ petition alleging that the Department of Sports, Uttar Pradesh had not acted on his application for a sports scholarship. He claimed the process was not fair, transparent, or reasoned. The respondents, the State and others, argued that the petition could be disposed of without addressing merits and that the Director (Sports) should consider the grievance.
