The court granted parole for ten days on condition of a personal bond and compliance with standard terms.

Summary

The petitioner, Kanabhai Asoda, filed a special criminal application seeking parole leave for 30 days to provide financial assistance to his family. The Additional Public Prosecutor waived service on behalf of the State of Gujarat. The court examined the petitioner's claim, noting that he had been released from jail in April 2025 and considered the financial hardship ground. Exercising its discretion, the court granted parole but reduced the period to ten days, subject to a personal bond of Rs.10,000 and standard conditions, including surrender at the end of the leave and restriction from leaving Gujarat. The order also directed the petitioner to mark his presence twice at the police station during the parole period.
