High Court of Gujarat

RAMESHBHAI MEVABHAI GAMARversusSTATE OF GUJARAT

Disposal
28-REJECTED @ ADM.STAGE

Holding

The court held that there was no case to grant parole leave and therefore rejected the petition.

Summary

The petitioner, Rameshbhai Mevabhai Gamar, filed a special criminal application seeking parole leave. The jail records indicated that he had been arrested after 3,901 days following his release on parole in 2014 and that his conduct in jail was unsatisfactory. The court examined these remarks and found no sufficient basis to grant parole. Consequently, the application was rejected. The order was directed to be communicated to the concerned jail authority.
